I read the first two pages of the communist manifesto and it didn’t mention grass, therefore Marxism is a failed doctrine

I think he’s saying that it’s free compared to Canada? Not sure, the dude is a drug addict. Also, I can’t wait to see how he likes Florida compared to Canada’s social services. It’s going to be fun.

he was formally on benzodiazapenes, he got addicted, then he decided he would go to russia to get unsanction care to deal with his withdrawals, and the coma caused brain damage.

Because he had to drop could turkey in order to line up with his worldview (can’t preach that modern medicine is poison if you’re having to taper off benzos). In reality, it’s likely that the combination was the coma and the drug withdrawals - benzo withdrawal can quite literally kill you because your brain needs them to function at that point. This is why he went to a Russian clinic, because literally no doctor anywhere in the West was willing to take the risk of “oh this guy might straight up die and we’ll be left holding the bag”.

I can’t find that part, but they are Russian connected. Who isn’t on the far right?

In December 2019, the Petersons held an emergency family meeting. Mikhaila had a plan. Her husband, Andrey Korikov, a Russian-born business consultant, had found a clinic in Russia that would perform an “ultra-rapid” detox. Peterson’s doctors vehemently advised against it—removing the benzodiazepines from Peterson’s system so quickly could kill him, and Russian health care is far less advanced than North American medicine (the country regularly finishes in the lowest third of global health rankings). Feeling that they’d exhausted all other options, however, the family made the difficult choice to send Peterson to Moscow.

I would love to see some Kafkaesque mistake in immigration process put him on the wrong side of the stick. And then some zealous ICE agent would apply all the necessary measures of calming down that fucking Canadian illegal.

If fascism in the us manages to fester into its next form I can easily see this scenario playing out. Jordan is just enough of an ideologue to ruffle the feathers of the wrong idiot with power.

Ironic, since he’s long been obsessed with the dangers of falling into the tyranny of left-wing authoritarianism.

So he willingly runs into the arms of right-wing authoritarianism.

At the end of the day, authoritarianism all looks fairly alike in practice. So he may get to experience a taste what he’s long feared (just the Nazi variety, not the Communist variety). So it’s almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy, attracting what you most fear and all that.

Look, maybe Canada has warts. Maybe I don’t like the idea of being forced to use pronouns or whatever, I dunno. But that “woke” stuff is far better than the darkness that’s brewing here in the US, especially here in the South. People are embracing Fascism, full-throated, here. I want out. I’d happily trade places with Dr. Peterson and move my family to Canada.

People friendly with the regime are in no way safe from being punished by the regime. That’s exactly the outcome of tearing down due process.

This type of person thinks it will be fine because they didn’t do anything wrong, even when they’re watching people who didn’t do anything wrong suffer or die. It comes from growing up in an environment that has a lot of justice and fairness, and so you think it’s built into the world somehow, like gravity. It isn’t.

This honestly makes me a little conflicted about the government black-bagging immigrants off the street.
