Look, maybe Canada has warts. Maybe I don’t like the idea of being forced to use pronouns or whatever, I dunno. This type of person thinks it will be fine because they didn’t do anything wrong, even when they’re watching people who didn’t do anything wrong suffer or die. It comes from growing up in an environment that has a lot of justice and fairness, and so you think it’s built into the world somehow, like gravity. It isn’t.
