Last week’s federal court decision forbidding the Trump administration from punishing the AP for refusing to rename the Gulf of Mexico was to take effect Monday. The administration is appealing the decision and arguing with the news outlet over whether it needs to change anything until those appeals are exhausted.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. circuit set a Thursday hearing on Trump’s request that any changes be delayed while case is reviewed. The AP is fighting for more access as soon as possible.

The media and the Democrats, and probably many Americans, still seem to think that if you keep pointing out how things are wrong, illegal, and against the rules, sooner or later a system will kick in to stop them. They haven’t yet adjusted to the reality of a fascist government. There is no longer freedom of speech or rule of law in the USA. There are no longer human rights. Your life can be ruined at any moment on the whim of the leader or his enforcers.

Poilievre just got a bump in the polls right when he said he would do the exact same thing in Canada, deporting people who speak up for Palestine. It’s a really critical moment for Canada, and crucial that everyone vote, and get their friends to vote, to keep this man away from power.
