A recent study reveals that antisemitism is predicted not just by right-wing extremism, but also by facets of left-wing authoritarianism, with a strong correlation to beliefs in conspiracies as well. The research challenges the oversimplified view that antisemitism is exclusive to a specific political ideology, highlighting its presence across the spectrum.

    For any passerby: Anti-semitism in this study is measured in part using the Antizionist antisemitic subscale (new-antisemitism) and makes no distinction between this and Judeophobic anti-semitic subscale (old-antimitism) since both of these scales are used to composite a Generalized Antisemitism scale. In short, the anti-semitism this study found includes anti-Israel sentiment.
