For any passerby: Anti-semitism in this study is measured in part using the Antizionist antisemitic subscale (new-antisemitism) and makes no distinction between this and Judeophobic anti-semitic subscale (old-antimitism) since both of these scales are used to composite a Generalized Antisemitism scale. In short, the anti-semitism this study found includes anti-Israel sentiment.

All the people claiming before the election that Biden was allowing “genocide” in Gaza were trying to make things far worse for Gaza whether they understood that or not. The choice was never between Biden and something better, the choice was always between Biden and conditions in Gaza getting way worse. Now that Trump is president, 2 things that were entirely predictable and obvious are happening.

    1. The “genocide” is way worse. Israel has implemented a full scale food blockade on Gaza because Trump is president. The end goal is for Israel to steal all of the land there from Gazans and sell it to Trump to develop as “beachfront property”. Biden in contrast was not only encouraging foreign aid to be sent, he was sending American aid in makeshift docks.

    2. Now that things are way worse for Gazans, nobody is paying attention to Gaza any more under Trump. The media attention served its purpose getting Trump elected so he could give gigantic tax cuts to billionaire media owners.

All of us who were pushing back on the “genocide” hyperbole, were doing so because we knew both of these things would happen under Trump. If you were someone who was screaming “genocide” when Biden was president because you were manipulated by the media, you did this.
