The New York Times reported that one of Bukele’s aides planted the tropical-looking drinks on the table to make it look like Abrego Garcia was living large. For this senator (iirc) to show he is actually doing he had to make some photo evidence with the guy wrongfully imprisoned there. Otherwise no one would believe it.
