LLMs are not like the birth of the internet. LLMs are more like what came after when marketing took over the roadmap. We had AI before LLMs, and it delivered high quality search results. Now we have search powered by LLMs and the quality is dramatically lower.
Wipe out ethnic groups? I mean they invade but Uighur and Tibetan ethnic groups still flourish. Are there other examples?
IDK about “white knight”; I first heard the phrase “dangerous by default” from a black man recounting how he got nervous being on an elevator with a white woman.
“Dangerous by default” is one hell of a thing to internalize 😞
Regardless of the team size, I say simplify as much as you can so you can dedicate your resources customizing what makes their business special. You mentioned a PBX system and no infrastructure, this makes me think you talking about Customer Management. It sounds like you’re documenting as you go, fantastic. Maybe loop in a noob time to time to review the documentation or have a Q&A that reifies the docs. Best of luck!
I doubt most people are well informed so there’s room for improvement.
Reading fiction has helped me be a better person, I wish the same for you.
I think a concern for the business is whether other people can help maintain the system. As such don’t go too custom and roll your own. Take things like nextcloud and see if you can fit the requirements by bolting on a few docker services. Keep it simple by using “appliances” where it makes sense (dedicated NAS?).
That diminishes the things some of them have done, like meet with those who were disappeared. Or attempt to shutdown the government.
If purity is your jam, Jesus said some radical things about rich people.
And the Democrats won’t do that unless the people make politicians fear the consequences of attempting a dictatorship.
And how do we know which industries would benefit most from capitalism or socialism? All industries experience diminishing returns of capital investment after a certain point, and that is how Marx made the distinction about which mode of production is “best” for which industry. It isn’t inherent that one industry should be socialist and another capitalist, it is relative to how big the industry is and whether there is room for continued expansion.
You sound like Marx just before he recommends transitioning to socialism as the next logical stage of human development.
You got me. My being in debt to a bank for rest of my life is worse than anything Bill Gates has ever done on Epstein’s plane. I’m doubly guilty because I have kids, can you imagine how much unrealized wealth they represent?
Can our AI fall in love with a human? Scientists laughed at me when I asked them but I found this weird billionaire to pay me to have sex with his robot.
Serious though, just here for discussion, but it seems that there’s a lot of sheep here that dont question anything or try to expand upon their knowledge… which is a problem, why can’t you reply with something constructive?
Have you considered that I chose to respond the way I did and not because I am a sheeple?
You had a chance with your reply to help me and possibly others understand your viewpoint more, but all you have done is make me hate u lol.
I am not responsible for your emotions.
You know what would be an admirable goal? Curing whatever made you post this comment. To that end I’ve put you in RFK’s database because you might be struggling with context.
The PR is to desensitize us from them doing outrageous things.
Enshittification is a paradigm shift, but not one we associate with the birth of the internet.
On to your list. Why does misinformation appear after the birth of the internet? Was yellow journalism just a historical outlier?
What you’re witnessing is the “Red Queen hypothesis”. LLMs have revolutionized the scam industry and step 7 is an AI arms race against and with misinformation.
