Filtering spam is a long solved problem and completely trivial. I receive no spam on my self hosted email, and I spend no time at all working on that.
My old unused gmail account however… I recently logged in after more than a year. The spam folder had about 40 emails in it, and the inbox had more than 8000, all of which were spam. Google over self hosting is not a solution to spam.
There are good people in your life. Share good things with them and try to be as good to them as you can. Social media only amplifies the negative. Things are bad right now, but not all bad. Don’t despair.
I know it’s cheesy, but I really believe it: love is the answer.
Much better! I approve!
Let’s try to make this work! Please?
All someone has to do to avoid being called a boomer is
Everyone born between 1945 and 1960 (in the US) is literally unable to do anything to avoid being known as and called a boomer. The word was around for decades before some stupid mean people tried to redefine it based on their ageism, or in other words their ridiculous belief that old people are evil.
When it is used to denigrate a “mindset” that you don’t like, it is most certainly a slur. When used to refer to folks who were born between 1945 and 1960, it is not.
We’ve all agreed (almost all) to stop using the word retarded to refer derogatorily to folks who do not have that medical condition.
Any word can be used as a slur.
Fine. Use a word for it that isn’t a bigoted slur.
I’m with you right up to the ageism. The folks who persecuted Aaron were older than him, but they were not boomers, and what they did had nothing to do with his age or theirs.
Bigotry is always wrong.
If the peole believe he has an overwhelming mandate, they will be a lot slower to kick him in the teeth. It will soon be too late.
Those non-voters matter a lot because Trump is acting like he has some kind of enormous overwhelming mandate, and there is no evidence to back that up.
The reason they have contracts is so they can take this to court instead of striking.
However, after this goes through a bunch of courts and ends up in the “supreme” one…
That 49.8% is misleading - it implies that 49.8% of the country support him, but it counts only the votes that were actually cast. He only got votes from about 30% of eligible voters.
Of course we can’t know who all those non-voters wanted to win, but I’d rather not imply that nearly half of all americans voted for him.
It is most certainly not sovereign US territority. We began leasing it from Cuba in 1903.
ETA: If it were US, the prisoners there would have rights. That’s the whole point of putting a prison there.

So… just a regular day then? Nothing to see here?
Yeah! Let’s go!! Signal to me baby!
Elements certainly do have defined temperatures! In this case it’s the freezing temperature that matters, which for helium is… not.
His elected position is not a possession. Taking it away is not punishment.
