I’m running PopOS (with GNOME+Cosmic) on my Yoga 6, works without any issues so far
I’ve only used it to write cover letters for me. I tried to also use it to write some code but it would just cycle through the same 5 wrong solutions it could think of, telling me “I’ve fixed the problem now”
Ugh I can’t wait for PopOs to move to Cosmic
CEOs rarely end up with nothing, unfortunately
Sounds quite a lot like working in science actually. Just better paid, I’d imagine
Sounds like a horrific, stressful job. How do you cope with that?
Thing is, the next MAGA/QAnon nutter will just tell people that it’s the lib’s fault and they will eat it up and vote for the next unhinged, cleptocratic sociopath. Or maybe by then the US will have gone full Russia and just openly manipulate the elections
I think this is pretty standard procedure no? Lots of small companies are spin-outs from universities
Why do you need a fusion reactor for electrolysis?
In a few years the US will be pretty much like Russia
Thank you for pointing that out, just set up a monthly donation
Thank you for putting it into perspective a little bit. I still won’t buy Nestlé stuff but at least now I’ll feel guilty buying anything else lol
Just installed Pop! OS and am very happy with it, very stable, no problems so far! In the past I’ve tested Mint, Manjaro and openSUSE I think. Switched back from windows as I don’t need remote access anymore and there’s nothing that makes me want to go back
Both steps could be fuelled using renewable energy sources, I hope this will become a standard soon. I don’t really understand why hydrogen production is being done using fossil fuels tbh. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, other than it probably being cheaper at the moment
It means you can increase the amount you put in to get a higher amount of output, but that doesn’t mean it’s actually doable in terms of cost or available resources etc
Always has been like that I think
How are people feeling about Deezer?
