Hmm ok, I crossposted it to there
It’s more that I wanted to remind others. I was thinking of posting this in the “YouShouldKnow” community at first, but I figured that it wouldn’t fit there.
I’ll have to figure out where to do that
If you are using something like a third-party client (may be an Android/IOS app that you use to access lemmy), it depends on the app.
If you use lemmy from a website, i.e the official https://lemm.ee/ site, you can navigate to your settings and disable it, just click on the settings button:
then scroll down and find these:
Edit: I see you’ve found it, Welcome to lemmy!
Yeah, Fedora is a really sane and stable distro in my experience. It supports almost everything that can be supported, I have never had to hunt down fixes for malfunctioning hardware.
Whenever I have to install linux somewhere, it’s either Fedora or Debian depending on how often I want to open the machine. I’m already used to both the distros and their package managers, and both always “just work” for my purposes.
i3 can also drag and drop to tile, iirc.
I agree, I won’t argue against their usefulness. I just meant disabling them for myself personally. I used to tend to judge posts and comments from their upvote/downvote scores rather than their actual content, now I can see them for what they are, in my eyes. I found that pretty cool and refreshing.
