The way I think of it is as follows: if you like the idea of socialism or communism, and you think the only way to get there is to have an authoritative leader “clean house” before they for some reason or another decide to give the power back to the people, then you are a tankie.

In my opinion, an authoritative leader will never give up power back to the people willingly. Or if an authoritative gets in charge, it will never dismantle systems like capitalism because capitalists give authoritative people power.

Another good hint is if they really like the idea of murdering billionaires even if there are less violent solutions to it. I’m not saying that there are currently less violent solutions. I’m just saying they will never go out of their way for less violent solutions. As if they like the idea of murder a lot.

The way I look at it is basically the Bible is up for interpretation. Because if you read it literally it uh… Well it’s not good.

So if you think about it, there are actually several. Christian gods. Each one slightly different based on which verses of the Bible you interpret literally versus figuratively.

But, and hear me out on this, what if we had one less bad thing or one more good thing. Then we repeat that. We could get to a better place.

We already had in place Protecting Americans’ Data from Foreign Adversaries Act, and the American Data Privacy and Protection Act. These acts prevent companies from giving US consumer data to foreign adversaries. Why did we make another law specifically naming tiktok?

It’s not that it isn’t spyware, it’s that all social media is. If the US had a problem with spyware, they would make a sweeping laws about spyware. Not just target one platform. This is racism pure and simple.
