Mine was a '91 GT, and there’s another commenter whose first car was a '92 Escort wagon. I guess the Ford Escort makes for a great first car.

I remember being able to start my car, then take the key out and lock the doors while the engine warmed up. Could also turn the ignition with a coin.

Looks like you do too! We love our Murphy. He’s a super senior at around 20–21 years old.
