To be fair, since our taxes pay for roads already I don’t really think toll roads should be a thing.
Also, anything with an extra fee is just ‘are you rich enough’ tax and that bothers me. Punishing people for being poor isn’t a good idea.
They can’t impeach him, because he’s doing what they want him to do. If he were to turn around tomorrow and announce UBI, a return of DEI, and a hefty tax on the rich, you’d bet he’d be out on his ass before you could say Jack Robinson.
Because if the US gets rid of the problem, we don’t have a convenient ‘other’ enemy to point to when we want to dump money into the military or give an excuse for MAGAts to attack Mexican-Americans.
Because then we wouldn’t have an excuse to invade Mexico. And make no mistake, he wants us to invade Mexico. Fascists need wars and ‘other’ enemies in order to keep people in their borders distracted and supportive.

I’d say the Post’s numbers are off; his approval hasn’t dropped, or it has but ‘he’s doing the Lord’s work’ so people don’t care and applaud anyways even if they don’t agree.
