My mother used to live in one like that during her uni years (shared of course with other flatmates) The apartment door was immediately in front of the elevator. The building had only one flat per floor
Well it’s probably going to burn a little whenever you take a shower. In terms of time that’s difficult to estimate since everyone has different times for healing and we don’t know how severe or large the patch is. For reference, I’ve had boiling water burn my fingertips a couple times and it takes about 4 days to a week to heal enough so that I don’t feel it anymore, maybe add a few days until it’s gone for good. Your arm will be different though
Of course - never watched any of them. To be honest y also didn’t watch scrubs either but I saw too many ads about their episodes back in the pre streaming era so I recognize some of the cast. Thanks

No, though I think the right thing for the artist would be to disclose that the references were ai.
Yes and I believe this isn’t really a showerthought
Lemmy has good science and tech communities. Have a browse around mander and dbz0
Ok the only two I recognize are also the ones that have the show name on them. What about the other 7?
Hey I think you posted this in the wrong community, surely it was meant for Unpopular Opinions?
You’re in the right lemmy instance I see

I’d still argue against that. I’ve had one true showerthought and it didn’t manifest as monologue, even though I do have an internal monologue. I had a concept and images for it. I spent some time trying to put it into words.
I still don’t see how a showerthought (or any thought) has to have a verbal origin in the thinker’s mind; I would argue any internal monologue is but a secondary step after a thought has occurred. I’ve never heard of anyone being unable to predict what their own internal monologue is saying, and I’ve never heard of anyone being unable to make quick decisions because they had to first hear a command in their minds.
Okay, that’s possible but still wouldn’t warrant hatred, which was what the person I replied to was saying
TIL this salad has nothing to do with Caesar of Rome
Just because you don’t have an inner monologue doesn’t mean you are incapable of thought, or showerthoughts if we’re getting specific
Gathering from previous examples of this comic I’d be surprised if the creator was taking a stab at neurodivergence.
iirc they had like half a metre between the flat door and the actual elevator door. You’d open the door to leave and immediately face the elevator door. Similarly you’d leave the elevator and find yourself right in front of the flat door. I could be wrong though, so take this with a pinch of salt. I haven’t been there myself.
