343·25 days agoThen you probably don’t know about Spectre and Meltdown from a few years ago. Same family of problem on x86-64 (so Intel and AMD chips).

I just checked on eBay, and there are multiple listings for single port 100 GbE Mellanox (now nVidia) Connect-X 4 cards in the $60-100 range.
