Was wondering if the medical field was large enough around here to have an active community (or if I’m just not finding it). Think we could get one going if there’s enough of us here?
The hospital I’m at has started slowly switching to LibreOffice; if that crossover gets the people here going
That’s far too smart a move for the average hospital admin. :)
Yes! That’s what [email protected] is intended for :) I’ve run into a handful of medical professionals here, but we don’t have regular discussion posts yet and so it’s mostly news articles.
That community also has an informal relationship with the one on reddit, where we were in contact with the mods there.
Please feel free to share any thoughts or stories in that community :)
Thank you! Seems more news oriented, but I’ll take it
Edit:
we don’t have regular discussion posts yet and so it’s mostly news articles
I managed to skim that part, so I guess I restated what you clearly just said… that’s my bad, but still thank you! Now following… guess I’ll repost my meme there for funsies
No worries, I like the meme 😄
On-the-fly meme for example
Visibility upvote.
Am adjacent in healthcare for seniors.
Loved those type of subs like the restaurant one. Was nice to read about how the fucking closers didn’t close again. Memories.
Am nurse. Don’t know of one, I’m not the kind to start something like it but I would love one
Bumping so that other medical professionals on Lemmy see this post and join up.
