Part of it, and I know it might be upsetting, is that “domestic terrorism” as a charge gets the feds involved. The president can pardon federal crimes but not state crimes. So if he gets a bunch of state crimes he cannot be pardoned by the president and has to serve the terms.

Toss a rock at a shitty car? Terrorist

Shoot a thief that stole part of your life by denying you Healthcare? Terrorist

Plot and carry out a plan to kill people due to their political beliefs during a time you know you could have reason to be around them and use shady online services to help plan things in order to coerce political change?

They lost their damn minds when Scalise was shot and referenced it for years. Scalise, the piece of shit that he is, even utilized that situation to be an even louder voice for the second amendment. Because he’s a piece of shit.

Don’t get me wrong, nobody should’ve taken a crack at him. You should not be the victim of gun violence because you are a politician just doing your job. But man they milk that shit forever and now two people are dead, two others were hurt, and it suddenly not a big deal? Scalise is still alive ffs

Hot take but being a high-ranking member of a fascist political party should absolutely make you a target of violence. The only concerns are tactical.

I think it’s safe to say that the political climate and temperature was a little different back then. I also don’t think you should be posting online that you want to kill Republicans. You’re going to get a knock at your door if aren’t careful.

I don’t want to kill Republicans. I don’t have the skills and I’m also not American. Furthermore, you are right that the climate is suboptimal for assassinations of Republican politicians at this point. My point was one of morals: it is ethically justified to kill a fascist politician.

As someone who was born in Russia, I think I would still be living there if that miserable piece of shit rat that runs the country fucking died in the most painful way possible.

Remember in America, when a white Christian man does something evil it’s the act of an individual and says nothing about society. But when a person falls out of that demographic it’s an act that’s an afont on society and needs immediate fixing.
