Yep, and the only available one is overflowing with piss-n-shit water, and the toilet paper is soggy, and there are no papertowels and the soap is empty and the sinks are just more toilet bowls full of piss-n-shit water.

You forgot the leaking pipes, so of course everything relatively safe to touch is also wet and cold.

Hm. Interesting how negatively coded this scene is when I hear people talk about their own “that one dream public bathroom”.

I distinctively remember mine having knee-high cloudy water, but it was very dark. My innate “understanding” in the dream is that the water is some kind of natural feature, not sewage. I don’t remember the sinks, tissues, cleanliness or of the bowls, or anything, just the incredibly weird layout and flooding, and the weird lack of privacy due to the doors and walls of the stalls being higher to accommodate the water.

US style stalls where you can conveniently park your XXXL truck under the divider aren’t a thing here.

It’s like that, disgusting and/or exposed, because your body is trying to keep you from pissing the bed. When you start to have a dream like that, wake up and you’ll realize you need to go to the bathroom. Your own clean normal private bathroom.

That makes sense, that it would be your subconscious alerting. In a similar vein, whenever I know I need to shower first thing in the morning (as opposed to before bed), I often dream of showering on the bed. Yes, like standing on the mattress on top of all the sheets and pillows and blankets. Or at least somewhere in the bedroom, like on carpeted floor next to wooden furniture. I HATE those dreams so much but they keep happening.
