minus-squareBloomcole@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·7 hours agoIn this case the colonising is still going on, hence the genocide. They are not ‘citizens’ but colonisers. It’s not an unfortunate fait accompli like the US that eradicated the original inhabitants for instance.
Someone made the same point so answered this already to show it is an invalid argument in the case of Palestine.
