if we are talking about the media, the media always loves a good story. a young girl with this much determination is a good story.

if we are talking about whether she deserves all the praises she gets that is another topic.

In any case it is good to create such role models for younger generations especially when on the opposite side we have shit faces like Andrew Tate trying to spread misogyny and toxicity to them.

The leader is a follower and the follower is a leader that is dead. If there is a hell, it’s inside your head. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t force it to drink. So it is pearls before swine.

A young girl with this much determination… So you think anyone with enough determination will be able to speak to the EU and get media coverage to argue with Donald Trump?

I have seen similar things happen before multiple times. One I can remember: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-42358227

So you think anyone with enough determination …

Also I am going to remind you we are talking about a twenty two year old girl who went to a fucking war zone knowing that she will be apprehended by soldiers of a fascist regime. I don’t know the last I saw a twenty two year old girl do this. So yea I think this situation is more unique than you elude to by your three dots.

Given that you asked such a loaded question, you at least must have some speculations as to why she was able to speak to the EU?

I thought it was about connections from her rich family, and their ability to pull strings to make these sort of things happen for their kid.

But from this thread, it seems the Wikipedia truth is that she is seen as a hero and risking her life. Maybe that is what actually happened, I wouldnt know.

she is seen as a hero and risking her life.

Just how rich are her parents that they can ensure their kid won’t get hurt going into a warzone? One is an opera singer, the other a non-holywood actor. So I don’t think that rich (unless of course they inherited billions from their own parents).
