The eastern & southern Ukrainians, who, after the Maidan coup, declared independence from an unelected government, and were subsequently terrorized by the Banderites for nearly a decade, with tacit and overt support from the Ukrainian and US governments?
The western Ukrainians who want the war to end?
The men being kidnapped off the streets and pushed to the front lines against their will?
The regime in Ukraine is literally snatching people off the street against their will to throw them into fighting. Ukraine has become an open air prison from which people can’t escape. Elections have been cancelled. All opposition parties have been banned. All independent media has been shut down. It’s literally a fascist dictatorship. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/12/15/world/europe/ukraine-military-recruitment.html
Not defending Ukraine here but doesn’t Russia do the same thing? They don’t have fair elections, opposition is almost no n existent and independent media is limited (which Georgians refers to as the Russian law). They conscript anyone suitable enough into the military. I don’t see how Russia is any different. Putin literally killed one of his oppositions.
No, Russia doesn’t do the same thing. Putin has not jailed opposition parties, and his party has genuine public support as even as mainstream western media acknowledges.
The approval rating Putin and his party have is also far higher than seen in any western democracy at this point. Nor is there blatant violation of the democratic process as was recently seen in Romania where an election was cancelled when the wrong. candidate looked like he was winning. If Russia doesn’t have fair elections, then neither does the west.
Russia allows access to most western media and has a more open media environment than Europe at this point where all Russian media is banned.
Putin literally killed one of his oppositions.
If you’re referring to Navalny, he never had more than 3% support in Russia. It’s also no surprise why. Meanwhile, even Ukrainians said that he died of natural causes. The actual opposition in Russia is KPRF that has around 30% support.
They conscript anyone suitable enough into the military.
Conscription has been standard in Russia since the days of USSR. Conscripts receive basic training, however they are not sent to fight in the war. This is done through volunteers signing up which is happening at a rate of around 30,000 a month.
If you don’t see how Russia is different then you’ve spent no time actually learning about Russia.
I stand with Ukraine and I am anti-war. 🇺🇦😁
(Oh my lord, what chaos did I start?)
Which Ukrainians do you stand with?
.
Previously. Previously.
The people who fight to protect their country. I don’t like the government. Can someone explain why I am getting downvoted though?

“Everything that doesn’t conform to my bias is Russian Propaganda!”
Just more lies.
My bias is against the country trying to grab more land.
You refuse the right to selfdetermination only to people wanting independence from US puppets or universally?
Do you refuse the right to self determination only for the people that want to integrate into Russia, or universally?
Yeah, the US
