      A third 747 with none of the extra fancy protective stuff that the other two have.

      I’m low-key hoping this is an incidence of military malicious compliance - “you want the plane, you get the plane”, but they’re not gonna install any of the protective crap on it unless he specifically asks about it.

      Which is a long way of saying “I hope it gets shot down with him on it”

      Air Force One is actually any plane carrying the President. If the president is not on board, the plane goes by a different call sign.

      As far as the 747s used, there are indeed at least two, with a third available if needed.
