So one item wasn’t BS. And you haven’t provided evidence of even that much.

EDIT: See how this goes? I asked for credible evidence and have been accused of calling the whole thing fake, several times.

Pretty weak sauce. Some threats were made. I’m sure they were! Can we get just a little more backing?

This is Journalism 101: Where, When, Who, Why, How, etc. That link answers none of that.

Were those threats made public? Taken seriously? Was there any real effects on the ground? I’m on here more than I need to be and didn’t see a thing that day, nothing that stuck in my mind. Wouldn’t you think this site would be blowing up with this news? Maybe I had my head completely up my ass on election day? And BTW, I’m in a highly contested state, so this should have been somewhat local news to me.

Fuck it. Lemmy wants to believe memes, no questions asked, as usual. Some grainy FB text and y’all are all in. Kinda reminds me of another group.

On Election Day in 2024, several U.S. polling places received bomb threats, many of which were later determined to be hoaxes. These threats disrupted voting in key battleground states, including Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.

Bomb threats that U.S. officials linked to Russian email domains disrupted what was generally a smooth voting experience across America on Election Day.

Let me guess, NPR is posting fake news?

Right, someone tells you, there were bomb threats in my district, and you counter with, nah, show me the evidence. Why even bother if you’re gonna act like that. Yo cane easily google this stuff and see people aren’t lying.

The threats were all over the news ON ELECTION DAY. What rock were you hiding under that you think this is fake?
