    Oh what are you worried about Kim? I’m sure if you showed up at the Kentucky GOP headquarters they’d be just over joyed to cut you a check for all your legal bills.

      Courts move slowly. This ensures all relevant evidence is available and both parties have opportunity for the best case.

      This was pretty clear from the beginning though. The job requires issuing marriage licenses with specific wording that does not allow for any interpretation. She didn’t do that.

      Ironically this type of wording is what some 2A folks talk about all the time with gun licenses. States laws stating “may issue” versus “shall issue” for citizens requesting a license.

      Shall issue states have to issue those licenses, it is not up to the state or individual to decide to issue it as long as the requirements are met, that’s how the state law for marriage licenses here is phrased and why she has these lawsuits.
