    There absolutely is. There are grades of terrible and grades of good. You’re currently arguing with someone online instead of resisting.

    Part of defeating fascism is recognising people as individuals with their own needs and wants. Your proposal that the only way to act or think is your way is just as harmful. People can resist and comply in the way they choose.

    Some of these people may have had a recent cancer diagnosis, for example, so it made sense. Are they still collaborators? Some may take the money and choose to work elsewhere without reporting it, or choosing not to work and instead protest. Are they still collaborators? Some just made a financial decision, which is fine too.

      Sure, in the “I don’t know, can you?” grammatical pedant sense. But in the patriot vs. traitor sense, no, you don’t get to choose to comply without becoming deserving of ridicule and ostracism! And even that, frankly, is getting off easy.
