More important than opposition to the current system is the prefiguration of an anarchic one. So much online discourse is about attacking, a lot less is about building. I drew this to remind myself and others that confronting the state is only a part of the puzzle and building new systems without it is also important.

all fun and games until you need to go to the hospital. Or get electricity. Or get bullets for self defence because there isn’t a state. Or roads to travel.
sorry for the necropost, but i was browsing this community out of interest and this post stuck out as nonsensical (to me, at least, i’m ready to get corrected)
Hospitals do not need the state. In fact hospitals are probably one of institutions to collectivise, due to the level of competence needed to actively work in one. It’s similar with electricity, industry and infrastructure maintenance. None of these things need the state. They are being maintained every day by the workers, the only thing the state does is look over their shoulder and give them money so they could function inside a capitalist economy. As an anarchist I reject both governmental oversight and capitalist economies. That’s what this post is about. It’s calling for people to start building alternatives that can function without the state.

soo… privatizing them, paying for life essential treatments? or is your definition of “collectivise” just your retired surgeon homie frank in his " sterile" living room? how are you gonna make new med students without state funded schools? by paying/bartering for it? that’s just capitalism, and it’s not going well so far
again, a bit repetitive in my arguments but “just build a community bro” isn’t the right answer for most things
