“Nvidia lies about future plans in hopes of becoming exempt from tariffs”
Ftfy
Why is Nvidia saying that Nvidia will be building these chips in the US, when they are actually being manufactured at TSMC Fab 21 in Arizona?
All these news articles, and Nvidia themselves, seems to be stating that Nvidia is not only a fab company now, but is on bleeding edge nodes.
Bad reporting, or trying to trick potential stock investors into thinking Nvidia is a hell of a lot more capable than they actually are as a means to drive up stock prices?
I’m betting the PRC invades Taiwan inside of a year or two, and that orange boy does fucking nothing because “they didn’t pay enough”.
And here it is gents, this and some old fashion bribery nicely explains why NV got some tariff and export restriction exemptions. The US government is a good old fashion racket.
Let’s see if that’s even close to true in 4 years. All of Trump’s lauded American manufacturing wins during his first administration were just smoke and mirrors and none of them actually became reality.
This is the one tech company I would have laughed at if they said American labor is too expensive.
To do so for the first time in the US. Goes on to explain how the factories are already up and running producing units.
I also know there are other partners not listed in the article producing Nvidia based servers used for AI for Google, Meta, and others.
Source: I diagnose errors/issues for the assembled server racks and confirm they can pass stress tests and such. They are built on an assembly line in the same factory.

Can’t wait to see what the cost will be once you figure in American labor, American benefits, 401k, etc … This isn’t foxcon where workers will accept Nvidia dollars good only at the Nvidia grocery store around the corner from Nvidia apartments
And that’s just the MSRP! The true cost is after every single goddamn unit is scooped up by scalpers.
figures that americans would manufacture garbage
