Same with Heinz. German immigrant parents, American brand.
Mutti is also great. Better than Heinz taste-wise too.
Also they make the damn best canned tomato pulp money can buy.
Try Curtice Bros.
Not European, but Napoleon is high quality and Canadian.
Sadly Canada is not yet part of the EU.
Hold my jar of maple syrup!
Weber may as well be Chinese at this point. Broil King is Canadian and actually manufactures their European grills in Canada (if I read this right)
If UK-made is ok and you want to cook the Argentinian way (and you have a fat wallet) then the Somerset Grill asados look amazing. One has been on my wish list for a while now.
Holy shit you weren’t joking. Those look amazing. Well out of my price range but I want one. Definitely won’t be thinking of this as I try and find a place for dinner tonight 😄.
If you like cooking on charcoal or wood, come and join us at [email protected] - we need all the posters we can get! And we don’t require you to spend a couple of grand on a BBQ.
Landmann is German company and decent quality. Not sure if they’re made in EU or China though
Quick search says Thüros and Asamodo are made in Germany, but if you enough garden space and it doesn’t need to be mobile I’d recommend just building your own permanent BBQ for super cheap, all you need is some bricks and mortar or even just some rocks for a fire pit and a tripod, it’s a fun little project and also way more fun to grill that way. ;)
I use a grill from Roesle. The company is from Germany. I am very happy with the grill.
An old oil drum with the side cut out.
Its cheap as fuck and it’s the best barbecue you’ll ever get.
If you’re feeling up to it, it feels amazing to make your own, but you’ll need things like an angle grinder and spot welder. Great project to learn those skills on, though!

I built a brick one combined with a sheet of stainless steel and an old cooker grid. It was amazing. Weber is massively overpriced and not as a good as even the worst DIY job.
ProQ smokers at https://proqsmokers.co.uk/, UK based, suspect manufacturered in China though as reasonably priced. I’ve been recommending them over Weber for years now as they’ve improved the standard kettle and bullet smokers designs somewhat.
Also their IT sucks, once you could access all invoices from all customers on their online shop.
ForgeAdour is a reputable brand from the French Basque Country. Made in Spain using European components.
They are more specialized in planchas but also make grills.
