Attorney General Pam Bondi is directing federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty for Luigi Mangione if he is convicted of the murder of CEO Brian Thompson.
The prosecutor claims that he endangered others around the victim. But if you watch the video you can tell he clearly was careful to not cause harm to anyone else. He could have bombed him, done a drive-by or any other method but he shot him with single shots at a close range. If they go for the death penalty he’ll walk.
Unlike the serial killer Bryan Thompson who used indiscriminate means of murder which not only brutally killed his victims but destroyed their loved ones lives too with all of the collateral damage.
Bryan Thompson is the mass murderer here, Luigi allegedly stopped the murderer in a way that put no one else at unnecessary risk.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I believe it was documented somewhere that the Shinzo Abe assassin made a similar choice so as not to harm innocent bystanders.
