Firadin explained how banning politics hurts trans people. Everything is politics, and everyone is part of everything. Everyone’s identity is political. Trans people’s existence is political, and that means you need to be okay with politics. It’s part of being pro trans rights.
I think you missed the part on the chain where I was in support of allowing politics.
I disagree with the basis of “everything is politics” because to me it feels like that reduces the seriousness of what are actually active political endeavors.
I don’t ever agree with stances that ban politics from spaces. Because everyone should keep it on mind until the issues are fixed enough that it is not urgent.
The reason I disagree is that I don’t generally see random memes about cats, or physics existing as political. I don’t think people can reasonably call those political.
The soulists want to abolish gravity and make the laws of physics into suggestions. The flat earthers think Newtonian physics are a conspiracy by the government to hide the truth.
Any example of an apolitical thing you can give, I can explain why it’s political.
Things like the abolition of capitalism aren’t serious business because they’re political. They’re serious business because they have huge consequences. You’re missing the reason they matter, and that’s a problem we can solve by admitting everything is political.
Please don’t slander me what the fuck
I am very pro trans rights.

I disagree with the idea that just because something can be debated in politics, that it is by necessity political.
Basically, I think an object at rest remains at rest until it’s actively debated in politics
