Living in Europe, I’ve been boycotting the US as a tourist destination since the authoritarian overreach that followed 9/11 with things like the Patriot Act, and have gone to Canada instead (both coasts) in the meanwhile and highly recommend it.

Well, there’s this short one from south Alaska down to the rest of the US on the western side of Canada and this really long one from northern Alaska all the way around the northern part of Canada and then down the eastern side of Canada to the US. 😜

The Atlantic Coast, the Arctic Coast, and the Pacific Coast. They all have their differences but are all beautiful. If you are not to far north you can hang out with all the Chinese tourists who believe that it is good luck to conceive children under the Northern Lights. But if you want to see real beautiful northern lights that dance you need to go further south like some grid road in the country side in Saskatchewan late at night.

I live and own a business in PEI. It’s a classic arcade that usually sees a bit of traffic from tourists.

I for one welcome this change.
