The King of the US announcing another decree after being mildly annoyed by something.
At this point, switching to plastic straws feels like such a reprieve. Can we keep him focused on little annoyances like this? Or making him hysterical that the 7-11 ran out of Cheetos?
My issue here is him just decreeing anything he wants whenever he wants and that seems to just be accepted. My guess is he’s annoyed that people are saying Musk is president so he issued a decree to remind people that he is king, but why is this being tolerated at all?
Idono what the correct solution is but paper straws apparently contain a lot of PFas and are really not good for anyone either…
Glass straws can break… And might contain PFas
Metal straws are also a safety hazard apparently… But seem to be the best choice…
Bamboo straws also contain PFas…
So… Just say no to straws?

Perhaps the solution is with the lids and not the straws?
I mean I assume you have the same issues with lids…
They can be thicker meaning it may be easier to produce them out of materials like bio plastics.
But bio plastic isn’t the answer either as it’s worse or just as bad as regular plastic… When you consider all the factors that go into making it…
