The regressive bat shit insane anti vaxx/conspiracy/trumpet/etc part of the party that they continue to allow have a voice is putting many like me off. They lost a lot of traditional PC voters to Mark Carney

What is worse is they’re so deep up their own asses they don’t see it. This is the new conservative movement across the world. They are goose stepping right into facism and are ok with it.

I find it hilarious that in even a thought experiment with no bearing on reality you always have people that will shit on your hypothetical fantasies.

My 2 cents. There isn’t a cohesive reason for the protests so reporting on it will be muddy. Devil’s advocate but it’s the same reason occupy Wall Street failed. The message got watered down. If the media can’t report on a clear, concise and unwavering requirement from the crowd then reporting on it is exceedingly hard to sell to the public.

I assume you’re referring to the Mainstreet polls. Not weighted that high and definitely an outlier and no sign that they are predicting a shift in the results.

Nothing shows anything Pierre Populism is running away with as you said. Polls by and large still show a Liberal majority or at worse a Liberal minority given their ability to get seats better than their popular vote might show.

My sense is orgs are correcting now from the over-hiring they did a few years ago. Our InfoSec department blew up over the last 5 years as did many corporations but the problem is in the boom you had, for lack of a better way to put it, a lot of morons snuck in under the auspices of “I took a course I’m a security engineer!”

Now corporations are moving on to risk mitigation which is a completely different skillset.
