20 hours agoI think it also is a generational thing. I have have had many friends of various sexualities throughout my 4+ decades on this earth. The pronoun thing is just harder to stick in my brain. One of my colleagues is my first acquaintance who uses they/them. I have the utmost respect for them but took me about a year before using their preferred pronoun came naturally to me. Just hard to rewire old neurons sometimes.
