For those searching a mastodon instance, this tool might help to find a neat little living room.
It’s the kind of thing we need but rather than instance policies, it should ask about hobbies and your location.
Never understood mastodon. I need to follow people for it to start working? Why would i want to create my own echo chamber?
you can see treding posts on your instance, or across all instances federated to your instance, they are just not slammed in front of you.
Ah - i registred ages ago, but had to dismiss some silly popups and find the dropdown to show my local content. Im on ios if that matters. Might not be my type of social media anyways, i like to follow topics and not people
