So, if it is from Belgium, might it be in Flemish Language and not dutch?
Just asking for a friend.The article is Dutch and people from the Netherlands can read it perfectly fine.
Flemish is a dialect of Dutch. The official written language in Belgium is Dutch (but with a few tiny changes). Flemish is mostly only spoken. Or written in a more casual setting. In Belgian articles you’ll see Flemish when people are being quoted, or when a common dialect word is used (which gets italicized).
Both, they are nearly the same, like British and American English.
