Summary

On a recent episode of “On With Kara Swisher,” guests including economists Mariana Mazzucato, Paul Krugman, and Oren Cass tore into Elon Musk for his hypocrisy over government subsidies.

They highlighted that Tesla received nearly $5 billion by 2015 and that Tesla and SpaceX have benefited from over $20 billion in federal contracts, accusing Musk of attacking state-funded support while benefiting from it.

I would not be surprised to find out that MUSK has received just as much money as his firings projected to save during his time at DOGE. I’m not even sure that he is saving money, why? Cause no one did a budget office type evaluation of the situation before Musk jumped in and started to stir shit up. He just started firing people like a maniac.

I hope someone out there determines that Musk is a national threat and they have him arrested in the same way we locked up KSM for years without trail.

“Slamming” became a stale trope once it became obvious that you can’t shame the shameless.

Stop trying to simply call out fascists. Start telling anti-fascists what to do about them.

While I get the sentiment, these are the opinions of economists. I don’t think they have any idea what to do to actually stop fascists.

I think at best, reporters would be able to interview anti-fascists for what we should do. I just doubt they have a stable of anti-fascists to call on for interviews.

I’m not entirely sure who they would call upon. So I can’t make any real recommendations, either.

Name calling and finger wagging will do nothing as he is just plundering it. I mean if you had a gang of burglars so brazen they got a caravan of moving trucks and literally just packed EVERYTHING from several homes in broad daylight. Calling them out and having them smile at you condescendingly at best will do nothing. They need to be arrested and spend the rest of their damn lives in prison.

For Musk’s baby faced cronies they not only need to spend a minimum of 30 years behind bars, but if they are released they are not allowed to work in anything other than menial labor and not to touch any computer or electronic device that is not preprogrammed for a very specific task (such as coffeemakers or toasters) and any violation of those rules will result in them being returned to prison permanently.

Oh please, I doubt Musk could suck his way out of a gas station bathroom. He’s got a lot of help doing the sucking here, and every one of them should go down for aiding and abetting this government sack-draining.

He should face a jury for these crimes. And when he doesn’t, what do the powers that be think is going to happen when the rest of us are tired of seeing this shit happen with no justice?

I love that in the thread right before this one for me someone was mocking the use of words like “slam” in news.
